I have been reading up on Nina Ottosson and her line of interactive dog toys designed to stimulate mental activity. I liked the idea of being able to play with Titan while developing his problem solving skills. Luckily my Mother-in-law purchased the “Dog Treat Fighter” so I had the opportunity to let Titan test it out before committing as the price point is a little on the steep side but Titan and his friends have thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle.
It is definitely a game that needs to be supervised as it is a light wooden structure that could easily be chewed up if neglected. There are alternate ways to put the puzzle together to increase difficulty so you can keep your pup on his/her paws. Keep it as simple as possible at first because when they become to frustrated they start pawing at it and that is no bueno. Once your canine friend understands the rules of engagement this puzzle provides a lot of fun for you and you dog.
